The Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies is entering the second year of its podcast with a whole new lineup of thought-provoking episodes. In conversation with the Director of CDTS, Professor Kevin Lewis O’Neill, the newly renamed Between, Across, and Through podcast investigates the exciting research topics of scholars from the University of Toronto and beyond. New episodes will be released at the beginning of every month, starting on October 1, 2019.
The name of the podcast comes from the term diaspora, derived from the Greek verb diaspeirō, “I scatter”, “I spread about,” which in turn is composed of the verb speirō, “I sow, I scatter” and dia, “between, across, through.”
